Now, you may hit a bump. Sometimes, the Developer Options section won’t be available on your FireStick TV, putting your quest to a standstill. 

Luckily, there’s a runaround to get through that. If the developer options are not accessible from the Fire TV menu, you must manually reveal them, as they’re hidden by default on newer generations of Firestick devices.

How to Show Developer Options

• Tap Home on your remote.
• Open/click Settings (gear icon) in the menu panel.
• Tap the My Fire TV option. 
• Select About.
• Tap Fire TV Stick 4K Max repeatedly.

Note: This is the name of the Firestick device and will be different depending on the device’s model.

• Stop when text that says, “No need, you are already a developer” appears.
