Why is my Galaxy S21 not showing a call recording option?
The option to record calls on Samsung Galaxy S21/S21+/S21 Ultra is unavailable in most regions. To enable this feature on their devices, Samsung has to obtain legal permits, which is impossible in countries that prohibit call recording.
Even if you’re in a country that allows call recording, the feature may still be unavailable if you order your device online from a foreign market. To resolve this, you can use Odin to flash your device’s firmware with a CSC that has call recording.

Calls can be recorded using third-party apps, but you have to consider the risks of doing so. Google is banning these call-recording apps on the Play Store, increasing the risk even more as you have to sideload the app from unknown sources.
Before sideloading any APK file, we suggest running it through malware or virus detection software to ensure they’re safe to install. If you don’t have a subscription to a premium service, you can use Google’s VirusTotal for free.
The call folder is the default save the location of your call recordings. You can find it by going to My Files > Internal Storage > Call.
In case you don’t have this folder or it does not have your call recordings, try going to the recordings folder instead.
Call recording is illegal in most countries, so it’s unavailable in Samsung devices for many different regions. Even in countries that allow call recording, it’s still possible to get in trouble for sharing and publishing private phone calls.
