The only downside to this feature is that it prevents you from receiving calls since they’ll go straight to your voicemail. Thus, you should only use DND if you plan on making the call to stop other notifications during your conversation.

If you expect an important call, you might not want to set your phone to Do Not Disturb. After all, it’s not ideal to miss crucial calls in exchange for stopping phone beeps when calling.

Since most beeping sounds your phone makes are due to notifications from your installed apps, it only makes sense that turning them off will solve this issue. We recommend this solution if you don’t want to uninstall any of your phone’s apps.

However, this method will only work if your phone doesn’t have a rouge app that’s misbehaving and bombarding you with faulty notification alerts. Otherwise, you have no choice but to uninstall all suspicious apps, as recommended in the first solution.

Once app notifications are disabled on your phone, you should no longer receive sound alerts from your installed apps. As such, this solution should stop the issue with your apps causing phone beeps when calling.

This solution is optimal since it mutes all sounds on your phone, not just the notification alerts. Since it targets all sources of sounds on your phone, it’s the most effective way to deal with the persistent beeping sound issue.

Like the previous solution, a factory reset excels at targeting all possible causes of malfunction and errors on your phone. It’s a handy solution when you have no idea what the root cause of the problem is.

While incredibly effective, performing a factory reset presents a drawback since it causes you to lose all your saved data. Therefore, it’s advisable to only resort to this solution as a last resort after trying all the abovementioned options.

WARNING: Before you factory reset, please back up all essential files so you won’t lose them to the process.

Please note that most phones nowadays offer a system and data backup feature. If possible, we recommend backing up your important files so you can recover them once the factory reset is complete.

The only time you shouldn’t rely on a backup is if your phone has malware or a virus infection. Since malware will latch into your data, it’ll be on the backup file and continue attacking your phone if restored.

Step 1: Go to Settings.

Step 1 Reset your phone

Step 2: Scroll down and open System Settings.

Step 2 Reset your phone

Step 3: Scroll down and open the “Back up and Reset menu.

Step 3 Reset your phone

Step 4: Click Reset Phone.

Step 4 Reset your phone

Step 5: Select the Erase All Data option to factory reset your phone.

Step 5 Reset your phone
