How to Stop the Phone From Beeping During a Call

Please note that some phones may not have some of the features required to perform the solutions below. In such cases, we recommend doing your due diligence and sticking to the methods that apply to your phone.

You can do this by temporarily restarting your phone in safe mode to turn off all third-party apps. Doing so will help confirm if a faulty app is causing the issue with your phone beeping during a call.

Step 1: Reveal the quick settings panel by dragging your phone’s notification bar twice.

Step 2: Open the power menu by tapping the power icon under the quick settings panel.

In such cases, we recommend turning off your phone call-waiting feature. You can also turn it on if you expect to receive important calls and configure how the notification behaves so it’s less distracting or annoying.

Step 1: Go to the phone or call app.

Step 4: Click Calling Accounts to open the call settings menu.

Step 5: Select the Call Waiting option.

Step 6: Select the SIM or phone number you want to configure.

Step 9: Select the Call Waiting Notification option.

Please note that most phones nowadays offer a system and data backup feature. If possible, we recommend backing up your important files so you can recover them once the factory reset is complete.

The only time you shouldn’t rely on a backup is if your phone has malware or a virus infection. Since malware will latch into your data, it’ll be on the backup file and continue attacking your phone if restored.
