Step 6: Use a screwdriver to unscrew the bezel from all sides.

Step 7: Lift/remove the metal covers above the scan drive boards.

Step 8: Lift the scan drive boards and unplug the ribbon cables that connect them to the T-con board.

Step 9: Flip the TV and remove the bezel you unscrewed earlier.

Step 10: Flip the scan drive boards to the side of the LCD panel and secure them with tape.

Step 11: Remove the tapes and tabs from all sides of the TV that holds the LCD panel and the chassis together.

Step 12: Use suction cups to carefully lift and remove the LCD panel.

Step 13: Release the tabs holding the filter frame and the chassis together to remove this frame.

Step 14: Tape the corners of the light filters to hold them together and remove them from the chassis.

Step 15: Flip the TV once more and dislodge the reflector clips by pinching them with               your pliers.

Step 16: Flip the TV once more and disconnect the clips holding the reflector sheet. Note: You can remove these clips smoothly by sliding them slightly to the side before lifting them.

Step 17: Lift/remove the reflector sheet from the chassis.

Step 18: Unplug the cable connected to the LED strips.

Step 19: Detach and uninstall the LED strips using a 5-in-1 tool.

Step 20: Install the replacement LED strips and plug the cables connecting to them back in. Note: You can secure the LED strips to the chassis by putting double-sided tape directly where you’re installing them.

Step 21: Put everything back in its original position and reinstall the back panel of your LG TV.
